Who we are
mathbehind.com is run by MathBehind, based in Lahore, Pakistan (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what information we collect when you use the site, why, and the choices you have. If you have a question about it, email contact@mathbehind.com.
The numbers you enter
Everything you type into a calculator, converter or the invoice generator, including any logo you add to an invoice, is processed in your own browser. It is not sent to our servers and we never see it. It is gone when you close or reload the page.
Information we do collect
- Basic server logs. Like almost every website, our hosting provider automatically records technical details of each request, such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. These logs are used to keep the site running and secure, and are kept only for a limited period.
- Emails you send us. If you contact us, we keep your email and our reply so we can help you. We don’t add you to any mailing list.
- Your cookie choice. When you accept or decline cookies, that choice is saved in your browser’s local storage so we don’t ask again on every page.
We don’t have user accounts, and we don’t sell personal information.
Advertising
We use Google AdSense to show ads, which is how the tools stay free. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this website or other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies lets it and its partners serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and other sites on the internet.
You have several ways to control this:
- Opt out of personalized advertising from Google in Google’s Ads Settings.
- Opt out of personalized ads from other participating vendors at aboutads.info or, in Europe, youronlinechoices.eu.
- Decline cookies in our banner. Google then shows only non-personalized or limited ads.
You can read how Google uses information from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Cookie consent
When you first visit, a banner asks whether you accept non-essential cookies for advertising and analytics. Until you choose, these are switched off using Google’s Consent Mode. Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland may see Google’s own consent message instead, which is certified for those regions. You can change your choice at any time with the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page.
Analytics
If you accept cookies, we use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used, such as which tools are most popular and which pages need work. We look at this data in aggregate only. It never includes the numbers you enter into our tools. If you decline cookies, Google Analytics does not set analytics cookies.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, including the European Union and the United Kingdom, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal information we hold about you, to object to how it is used, and to complain to your local data protection authority. Because we collect very little, in practice this usually means emails you have sent us. To make a request, email contact@mathbehind.com.
Children
This site is intended for adults and working professionals. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children.
Links to other sites
Our pages link to other websites, such as pricing pages and official guidance. Their privacy practices are their own, and we recommend reading their policies.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and the date at the top. See also our Terms of Use.
